How to Replacing Tie Rod End a 1994 Ford Explorer or assistance would be welcome I believe there to step in tech library, thank you very much

try searching using a lot less words and that tool is a pickle fork. used to remove the tie rod from the steering knuckle.

1. First loosen the adjuster sleeve
2. Use the pickle fork to remove the tre
3. Once you get it off the knuckle then count the exposed threads for installation later.
4. Grab some channel locks and clamp it on the tie rod and remove it.
5. Then thread the new tie rod on and try and get the exposed threads the same as before for driving to the alignment shop
 
Just hit the ear of the knuckle with a 5 pound hammer. It should pop out after a few good shots.
 
That will work too. i had to rent the pickle fork because mine was just way to rusted solid.

This gets er dun every time. Ball joints, tie rod ends you name it. A pickle fork is one tool I would never waste my money on.

Use two 5 lbs sledge. Place the second one on the other side to where you're hitting. This will lossen the tie rod faster.

Whoa... Why would you want two? I used a basic hammer, 5 shots and it was out. I don't know why you'd need to or how you mean to use it.
I need to figure out wtf the differences is between a 45750 and whatever other number inner tie rod removal tool. Don't wanna get wrong kind. I see some are rounded at end. I believe those are for different vehicles completely.
 
Well you have a 99 Ranger which has the rack pinion steering where as the Explorer he has, has a steering box setup. But my inner tie rod end removal tool is round, you can also remove them by turning the wheel the whole way to the side you are working on and get a pipe wrench on it to remove it.
