tie rod adjustment

Well so far I didnt do much to sick. I did replace the driver side ball joints as they would be the only thing left and installed the adjustable bushing. I unhooked the linkage, but gave up, to cold when your hacking up a lung. I will try to center the steering and the tie rods tomorrow. I didnt think it would be down this long. I was thinking it would be done Saturday. I have to thank you for you help though. I think I will get it done in a couple of days.

I got everything hooked up today. The steering wheel is off center. I am guessing if I pull the pitman off with tires centered then center the steering wheel, reinstall pitman arm is correct? Thanks for the help it made it easier with just starting from the beginning. I do have to set toe in and put 1 adjustable bushing in. :icon_thumby:

As far as I know the pitman arm only fits one way.. I made all adjustments with the tierods. My steering wheel is still a little off center but I'm going to let let the alignment shop deal with that.

My pitman arm and the shaft are splined all the way around. It can go on anyway.

This is done except putting the sway bar on and the steering stabilizer. I'm going to do that today. Got it good enough to get it to the alignment shop. I havent had any problems. It does seem like you can turn it to far. Thanks for the help. It drives a bit different but not in a bad way.
