thumping in floorboard

When i pin my truck trying to spin the tires or drift it feels like axle rap but under my floorboard its like "bang bang bang", it feels like its right beside me in the middle of the truck, but when i drive normally on the road and pin it it doesent do it even going up hills or anything, its a 95 ford ranger xl, 4x4, 3.0L ,standard, with 3.73 rear end

Check the transmission mount and (if super cab) driveshaft carrier bearing.
99% chance it's one of those two.

check your radius arm bushings, i heard that thump and felt it in the floor boards, it was the bushings.

Climb under the truck and see what's loose. Could be an engine or trans mount, exhaust pipe, U-joint, carrier bearing, radius arm bushing, etc.

I had some crazy thumping under my F-150 recently, thought I blew a mount somewhere. Crawled under and started yanking on stuff and inspecting the engine and trans mounts but they were fine. Then I discovered the problem... every last one of my exhaust hangers had come free, so the exhaust was banging against all kinds of stuff. So I fixed the problem.

Seeing as I have a 4-Banger, there's not enough horsepower to do stupid things.

Sagged bodyrear body mounts on a super cab will allow the rear transfer
case output flange to just barely touch the floor directly above the T-case flange.

The witness mark will only be the size of your pinkie nail and unless you see it from the right angle it's nearly invisible.

I'd bet on carrier bearing or radius arm bushing. There is nothing wrong with ranger drifting unless it scares other drivers!
