Yeah, for sure. I catch myself heading right at them..but I always (reluctantly) pull away. I just try to get close enough to scare the hell out of em. If they're going to ride on the roads, they should have all of the requirements that a motorcycle has...license plate, tabs, headlight, etc.

If something wants to intrude on my allotted 10'x20' hunk of pavement, it better learn to dodge tires because I am not ditching my truck over anything smaller than a cow... and even then it depends on the ditch.

I have already bagged a deer, a badger and a possom. I didn't enjoy either one but I didn't have a choice, they did.

It is kind of funny once in awhile I have read in the paper that somebody ditched their car and rolled it 2 times to avoid hitting a deer. Just let it take out the headlight/grille/fender, unless it jumps at the last minute it and comes thru a truck windshield it won't hurt you. They usually slide right over the top of a car.

We full well realize it. I am disappointed that you feel that way about bicyclists, but not all of us are "Lance Armstrong wannabes" and enjoy to ride/exercise on bicycles. I can understand your aggrevation about them not using the bike path provide, but still disappointed.

It doesn't bother me how close you get. The way I see it, you hit me and I live your f$#@ed; I die, you do jail time, hopefully for the rest of your natural life.

No. Bicyclists do not belong anywhere that cars regularly travel, just like most of the other people you mentioned do not belong there either. You are a danger to yourselves and everyone else. I have had people try to run me off the road on my dad's tractor, in particular one red Mustang convertable (with the top down) drivin by a lady on a cell about bought my left rear 13.6-38 tire right down the middle one day... because she couldn't let me lumber at 18mph (in a 25) by so she could go around a parked Suburban in her lane. It was a fully restored Massey Harris 44, bright red with yellow wheels... I would think rather hard to miss. I dunno how long it would have stayed upright but it wouldn't have blinked at crushing that car, and flopping upside down once it climbed it high enough wouldn't have do me much good.

Luckily I saw her dart around and locked up the tires to give her enough room to squeeze thru.

Some people are just stupid and there is nothing we can do about it but try not to let them kill us.

I have saved so many peoples lives on two laned highways like that. Most people do it cause they got Stangs or Vettes and try to be bad. They're just lucky I have a heart for any automobile even when its driven by a total douche.

bicycles have EVERY right to be on the road, thats why there are LAWS regulating their use. yeah, there are some spandex douchebags that hug the center line and/or weave in the lane, but most of us are just out trying to save some money and get some good exercise in the process. bike lanes? HA! i'm lucky if there is a shoulder more than 4" wide. if there were bike lanes around here, you better believe i'd be using them.
