Those who have taken or are taking auto class'...

With out EEMS and Mobil electrical classes we are tought the bare bones basics and then build to how things should work, then, the instructors go out to the fleet of equipment, and frigg it up. Our test is for us to go out, diagnose what they did, repair it and get it runing again. Next semester is a full 4 months on electronic engine managment and electrical power generation. Im hoping that the average auto shop in highschool has become more advanced then it was when i went.. I was a little blown away when i started school a year ago.

Took an Auto electric class to use up my GI bill in '77. For my final exam I had to sort and Identify 11 wires to a '67 Cadillac turn signal switch.

Fanshaw eh? one of the guys in my class took there program befor coming to ssfc. I think having a general undrstanding and confidance is what you realy need....rather then trying to memorize formula's or numbers. Thas my opinion anyways
