just preheat the oven and dont put them inside for too long, 2 or 3 minutes will do for the gasket to release the lens. do one at the time.
and when removing the masking tape do it with plenty water so u wont peel off the chrome on the non painted parts.

Well I will probably get flamed for this but I just ordered a K&N intake and underdrive pulley from summit racing, should be here sometime next week.

the pulleys are a good investment.
hell its your truck and your money lol

make sure to post pics.

it replaces the crank pulley with a smaller one and the water pump with a bigger one to allow the motor to work less to turn the accessories.

Well today was the day I decided to put my intake and pulley on, or at least one of them. The intake went on without a hitch, but the pulley was a different story. Apparently I need to get these special tools to get the fan and shroud off, so I guess I will just have to spend more unexpected money to get that on. Anyway, on to pics of the good part of the day.

Nice, I thought you just needed correct size wrenches. I didn't think fan shroud had to come off... I mean belts right there

The fan and shroud need to come off so you can get to the bolts that hold the pulley on. I probably could have done it today but I was getting mad so just decided to stop working on it and put the intake on.

Well the wrenches for the pulley should (finally) be here tomorrow so I can put it on. Pics will follow.

Been a while since I updated this....but I finally got my underdrive pulley installed. It only took me about a month to do it.
