Ok so I've been fighting with this site being slow as hell for over a week. I mean taking several minutes to load a page. And it's ONLY this site. Everything else is lightning fast as normal. Other sites, netflix etc all fine.

This happens on every device I own, my dell laptop, my samsung phone, my android tablet, and my amazon fire tablet. All work fine EXCEPT ON THIS SITE.

So today I realized, the site works fine on my devices if I use my 4g cell service or go to somewhere else with wifi.

So obviously for some reason this site is not getting along with the wifi in my house. What in the hell could cause this? I've logged in and out, reset the router, reset every device, re-installed browsers, even factory reset my phone. No change unless I don't use my wifi.

What the hell else can I do? Why would only one website be affected?

I've had the same internet provider for a decade and this issue only started last week...

Did you swear at it.
I still have the " delete" issue. On this site only, press backspace and it loses tje keyboard. :(

I've cursed at everything! It's not fixing it! I even threw a dog bone at the router!

tires are round

maybe Kahless can fix it

my butt itches

bet it's Trumps fault...

Try a different brand of oil. And none of that synthetic crap either.

You can try Clearing cookies and/or Browser history
You will need to log back on to each site than needs users names and password if you do this, and the first time it will take a little longer to load because browser has no "cache" of that site's main page anymore because it was cleared
When you go to a website your browser "caches" the main page in memory, so next time you go there it just recalls the page from memory and then updates as needed, but the majority of data, the layout, is already on screen

DNS is domain name system/service
rangerstation.com is a domain name, but you can not connect to rangerstation.com because that is not an "address" its just a domain name
rangerstation.com is registered and is/was assigned a worldwide web address, where it is Hosted on a server

A DNS sever will lookup rangerstation.com and give your Browser the correct routing to its numerical address on the Host server

Your ISP(internet service provider) will have its own DNS server(or pay to access one) to look up domain names and translate that to an "address" and that DNS servers address will be listed in the modem or router settings

You can change the DNS server and use a free one like Googles, which works pretty well
Googles DNS server address's are 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, and no its not a security risk because its public

You can change the DNS address in the modem/router so all devices use that DNS server, or you can change it per device and the device won't use the ISPs DNS server, it will use the one you set

Reason I mention the DNS is because you said your wired ISP was slow to load rangerstation.com but not your Cell service ISP, they each use different DNS servers.
So your wired ISP's DNS may be having a NEW problem with rangerstation.com, its connecting but hopping around so loading very slowly

Easy to try 8.8.8.8 to see if the Dell Laptop loads any faster, go to Dell's wifi adapter settings to change DNS address

Same can happen with Proxies and VPNs(private networks), so if you are using add-on security it can also cause this slow loading issue

Also Ad-blockers on sites with advertising, can slow things down, advertisers try to beat ad-blockers, so with a new ad type you can get a sudden slow down when there was none before

We’re doing it purpose... we’re trying to slow down your nonsense.

I would recommend a wipe of the cookies from the browser but multi devices having the same issue rules that out, although it does help at times so keep this in mind for future reference as a trouble shooting step.

Sometimes I to have found that this site gets slow for me But I do have Rectum internet service where the service is as shity as the name suggests but have not found a cause. When I used to pay for servers for our gamming clan we would have to periodically restart the server, much like you do with a PC that has been running for days or weeks that suddenly decided to run slowly. This helped in that scenario but I am unsure of how a site is run vs. a gaming server so this may not help solve the situation.

If land lines go down between you and the server it could slow the server's response to your location but usually just milliseconds, usually, as the signal gets rerouted.

Did you try a restart of your Modem/router or both if separate?
Also have you noticed it happening at just a certain time of day where later on it is fine?

EDIT: I meant Spectrum Internet... Not really...
