Really touching story.

About 5 years ago while I was in high school, or just graduated, there was a similar thing like that here locally. A boy about my age(17-18) was diagnosed with something terminal. His favorite pasttime was wheeling his '82 Toyota. Someone got together with a bunch of people and manufactures and "stole" his truck for a week and gave it a total new makeover. Brand new 22re, twin cases, flatbed, irok's, the works. Belive there even was a tv show about it. I saw the truck at the local auto shows around town and he regularly wheeled it when he could. I don't know much after the first couple years after having it redone. But, it was really touching at the unveil.

Almost teared up a bit...

Makes me think no matter how bad a day i'm having someone always has it worse and stuff like that makes me happy for my health. It also makes me happy to see so many people come together for such a good cause.

thats touching! sucha tragedy but ppl always seem to make the best of it! quality over quanity!!!

Choked me up a bit. People like that are incredible. If this ever happens to a Ranger boy or something...count me in!

It shows that there's plenty of good people out there!

That goes for me as well! I'll bring the blinker fluid, muffler bearings, and left-handed screwdrivers!

Haha, yeah really all I could bring is a roof visor that may not even fit, stock taillights and myself. I'm not even that knowledgeable but I can turn wrenches and do what I am told haha. Seriously If this ever happens and I can afford the flight/get off time from work. I'm there. I'm eighteen myself so I know the joy a vehicle brings to a vehicle lover

I bought a GT new in 88. Incredible car, especially for the money. One of the few I truly regret selling. Course, not much use haulin' lumber home from Lowe's but that's what the Ranger is for.

That has to be one of the coolest videos on youtube, what those guys did was bad@$$.

Gearheads UNITE!!!!!! Bring me your Hondaheads, your Nissan Nuts, your Jeepnics, and even your Deere Deciples! Together, we will make this world a better place for mankind!
