This is getting VERY confusing

they worked this time and it looks good. 3 questions though, First how much did those Coils and Shocks cost you if you dont mind me asking? Where did you get them? and what is the 4th gen sitting next to yours in the top pic?

OK, I don't have the "per unit" cost but the whole Coils;Front and rear shocks and stabilizer combo cost me 390 bucks at 4wheel parts. You can go online and check pricing. BTW, I checked TRS Fab & off road and found cheaper prices AFTER I placed my order (Stupid! Stupid!! :bawling:)....

Now for question number 3, That's a co-worker's truck that happened to be parked besides mine... I took the pics at work since I seem to be spending more time here than everywhere else lately... As far as I know the only changes on that truck is cranked T-bars, BFG KM2 tires and a flowmaster... here's kind of a better pic of it..

Coil bow is common with leveling lifts. Not really an issue.

Be careful with that steering box though, you make it even slightly too tight and it will bind up on center (possibly damaging the box).
Best way to adjust that is to disconnect the linkage from the pitman arm and adjust it as tight as possible without having it bind while you rotate the wheel.

I'd lose that hitch crossmember thing too if you're not using it (repairing the receiver), it's just unneeded weight hanging over the front axle.

Truck looks good :icon_thumby:

Thanks!! getting there to have a DD/weekend toy truck :yahoo:

Thanks for the tip; I'll disconect the linkage if I get the courage to mess with the box, I've read you just don't mess with that in other posts, though...

As for the hitch, I'm still debating what to do with it since it's welded in there, not bolted so removing it will take more than just elbow grease and swearing :icon_welder: so I thought I might as well just fix it and have a solid towing point in the front.... Still up for debate and not the top thing on my list so I guess I'll just leave it there for the time being..

thats the same problem i had with my ranger i ordered the same coils
