Well Just picked up my new wheels traded in my 2004 VW Jetta TDI on a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport. I dont do as much driving as i used to and dont need the economy of my VW but i do need a small truck to haul my utility trailer now and then as i am tired of borrowing my moms minivan (i like to buy and fix motorcycles).
Its a pretty basic rig. Has the Little 3.0L V6 a 5 speed auto 4:10 rear gears and optioned with A/C Cruise Tilt and a bed liner and trailer hitch.
This is actually my THIRD Ranger (hence the Title). My first one was a 1999 Reg Cab XLT 2wd and my second a 1996 Ex Cab XL 4x4. All of them have had 3.0L v6s with autos . I have ALWAYS loved rangers and regreted selling both my previouse rangers almost immediatly after sale. So hopefully Third times the charm for me this one STAYS.
