think i may have made a mistake?

This kind of thing makes me f'n crazy. I got ripped off on some RC stuff once. It was only $30, but the thing is, is that it was my $30 that I worked for. I damn sure didn't make that money to give to some lazy doucher who does this over and over again to people. It definately taught me to research companies more. End rant.

so come to find out they never even had this stuff in stock when i placed my order, even though the web site said they had plenty to fill my order. im getting help from another member on this site so hopefully we can get this worked out and i can post pics of the install and maybe a video of the excursion of these little suckers!
until then ill be fooling around with some new bucket seats i picked up, theyre out of a 99 escort ZX2 and they were removed by rousch when the car was new. this guy john that i work with who is into building 40s and 50s hot rods got the buckets from his brother who got them from a guy who worked at rousch (johns brother was going to use them in his hot rod but then abandoned his project). i paid $80 for them and they still had the factory plastic bags on them! the thing i need to work on is mounting them, since the frames on the seats are 2" wider than the frames of the ranger seats so im going to use some 2" wide flat stock and make adapters for them. ill be sure to put pictures up some where (most likely in my build thread) when theyre done.

im not trying to be an a$$ about it but thats EXACTALLY why i never order it. if they dont have what i want in stock then i just go on with my day. i have been on ebay a few times for car audio and never had one problem yet.
good luck man

thats just it though, the website said that they had them in stock and i never recieved an email or phone call from them saying that it would take longer than expected because they were out of stock. i did recieve a refund from them after requesting a cancellation of my order and now im looking around at other vendors to get these subs from.

Never buy used drivers period

www.crutchfield.com if you need a lot of newbie tech help, or want to just figure out what fits stock

www.onlinecarstereo.com has some nice stuff at much lower prices

www.madisound.com really technical not always the best selection

www.partsexpress.com occassionally has gold, usually decent buyout equipment, good deals on components and wirirng

www.stealitback.com I got my amps from there, a bit risky but if they say it powers up and its a solid brand such as alpine then it can be alright.

on the audio quest once again

i finally got 2 new jl subs ordered through crutchfield and i should see them monday (4 days from now). it probably cost me $20 more than if i would have bought elsewhere, but after going through that shit with DCCA i will gladly pay extra to ensure that i get what i paid for within a reasonable time period. pics will be posted once the install is finished.

This should be a warning sign to anyone... always ALWAYS check BBB before buying from someone questionable. I laughed when I saw their site (DCCA's site), scammers seem to have that particular look that stands out from the real stores.

I get my stuff cheap from OCS (online car stereo) (speakers only, I wouldn't do anything else online except crutchfield)
