thickness of explorer leafs

so I want to put explorer leaf springs on my ranger but from what i can tell My leafspring looks the same. Can anyone tell the measurment of one for an explorer please? that way I can see before I buy!

The Explorer leafs are a bolt in swap. They will give you anywhere fro
1" to 2" of lift as well.

not everything in the tech section answers all your questions but i do have to agree i just put up a thread on me installing them. and he posted in it. i thought i gave plenty of info

Ok so I red the tech section and wouldn't you know it. It answered my ? My leafs are 2 inches same as explorer. So swapping them would do nothing thank you

Well the Explorer springs are mounted under the frame plus are a spring under axle as compared to the Ranger which are side mounted to the frame and spring over axle meaning Explorer springs will give you a little lift because of the way they have been made. Other then having to flip the pin, they are a bolt in mod.

The Explorer springs start with more arch
AND they are made of thicker metal stock.

If you get the four leaf springs (not counting the helper your truck will usually sit more than an inch higher.

Not that the explorer springs "lift" your truck they simply return it
to the original height.

Now if you really "want more" get an explorer 4dr leaf pack, but also but an Explorer monoleaf off of an explorer sport.

the Sport springs are built on a single 1/2" thick leaf
Regular exporer springs are ~3/8" thick (ranger leafs are
usually a bit thinner ~5/16")

so if you use the other leafs from an explorer spring pack using an Sport main leaf and you'll have the ultimate spring.

Not good for flex... but great for holding up a load of coal... Firewool... scrap metal or what-have-you
