2.3L ('83-'97) Thermostat housing

Thinking the old housing is OM. It looks like it has had better days. It doesn't leak, but I'm wondering if the thermostat isn't sealing good and thinking maybe a new one would do better. Lots of thinking.

So, I'm looking at Rockauto, and not seeing much of a variety of brands. Famous Brand must be great because it is Famous. Other than that, there is SKP, Motorad, GDP and Four Seasons. I have seen on other sites that Dorman also has one. Is one better than the others?

Given those choices, I myself would lean toward Four Seasons, as they've been around for a while and I've used their stuff before.

Unless it's a genuine NOS Ford part, everything else will be pretty much the same: off-shore manufacture (usually China). Quality will vary, so I tend to try to go with whoever seems like they have a decent warranty response; even if it means paying a little extra.
