Considering the amount of "Dressing" that thing has you can hardly tell what it is besides a truck. Common guys! At least we will get a Ranger! I know a ton of GM fans that wish they had the Frakin S-10 Back!!!!

Enlarge the picture. The front end is totally fake! They have grafted oversized bodywork if you look at the A pillar. There's probably a 6 inch gap between the hood we see and the real one. And the bed quarters aren't even lining up with the front of the truck.

This is an obvious and poor attempt to hide the real truck. These guys are pros and if they aren't ready for us to see an almost finished model we won't. I'll bet you take the current Ranger, F150-ize it and poof! You'll have our 2011 Ranger.

Now, if only we could bribe and insider....................... Yea! that's it! We'll keep the secret! Just us at the Station! We promise not to tell!! Honest!

I'm not too concerned about the appearance since those are just test mules. They won't look quite like that I'm sure. I don't like that the test mules are using integrated front bumpers/grilles though. Hopefully Ford will go with a separate front bumper design and a more truck-like appearance.

Also, it looks like the test mules are using a spring under rear axle design. A lot of small pickups use that design, but it hangs down really low. Look at any small GM pickup. I'd rather see a spring over axle setup like every full size with leaf springs has. The Rangers in South and Central America use a spring over setup with outboard shocks like the F-150...I'd like to see that.

The single and double cab versions seen in these photos appear to share a common wheelbase, though the lumpy sheet metal they wear is strictly a placeholder for the future body-on-frame cab and cargo box we've yet to see.
