Slo-Vo,
I'm running that big Alt.. I can turn up the tunes with 2 amps and all 4 day lighters on with no gauge fluctuation. It does constantly run up higher than it used to. But not had any trouble with fuse links or anything. Idling and I can power all that, with all three ports on the cig lighter thing running stuff too, headlights on high beam, heater going, blah, blah!!
Spent the day wheeling up near Centertown, KY, got some more tree rash! I've got to get these 2 weeks done with the army and make that trip to Ohio to pick up the new wheeler! Too much rash going onto my truck.

i know and it sucks b/c i got my bumper today.. just needs primed and painted.

and i'm so going to look for that bigger alternator soon....
