the slo-vo build thread...

deffinantly didnt make it in 10 hours...barely made it to atlanta in 10 hours....

i was doing goof till about 11 last night it started raining hard then there would be 40 miles of nothing but trees then 40 miles of construction then 2 miles of 3mph because a wreck then start over again so i stopped and got some sleep in atl

left atl about 6:30 this morning and just now pulled in the drive way

MADE IT 875 MILES with no liscense plate...4 states pretty much top to bottom no plate never got pulled over couldnt believe it

but im happy with it no real problems

Glad you made it home, you gonna sign up for XM??

lol its very tempting! i drove for 8 hours before hearing the same song twice...was pretty damn nice

just incase yall were wondering what ATL traffic looks like at 6:30am...

that about 5 miles packed solid bumper to bumper....what fun

You drove that whole way with no plate?! Holy carp, I drive around the block and I get caught... :annoyed:

yup didnt have a temp tag...there were a few times i thought i was gunna get busted but none ever came after me :dunno:

not going anywhere yet...gotta find some stock 3.73 axles first

I've got a stock D35 3.73 pumpkin. lol

Why you going back to 3.73?

because im pulling the axles and lift from the explorer to put under the ranger....the rear full detroit and front truetrac along with the duff longarms will be right at home under the trail rig ranger

so just need some stock 3.73 axles to put back under the ploder

need to find me some axles...gotta get the ranger rolling on some 35's!!

im actually getting tempted to start looking for SAS parts for this winter....

You know, by the time I had my D35 ready to roll on 35's minus the locker, I could have had a SAS bought and paid for. Once you lift your truck with a TTB, you are constantly fighting to keep your driveability up, keeping everything in order, keeping wheel bearings good on 35's......so glad I am finally doing my SAS, I wasted so much money trying to keep the front end going. They just aren't made for 35's, they will turn em, but there are just better options. I didn't lift my truck to wheel it, I just wanted a lifted truck...now I wanna wheel.
