the slo-vo build thread...

It's all how you raise them. my niece is easy to keep busy. put her in charge of the push broom and she will move dirt all over the garage. that or just put scooby doo on the t.v. in the garage and she will be happy for hour's on end.

I'm not allowed to watch my nephews anymore because some videos of them rapid firing a Ruger and pulling the trigger " while the .50 cal barrett was to my shoulder " surfaced on a friends facebook.......

Last time I checked you liked having fun in a destructive way as well, I wish you the best don't forget to stock up on shop rags and duct tape. Good for emergency turnequits and child proofing light sockets.

I love scooby doo... man your lucky!!! i want to watch scooby doo!!!

I wouldn't get anything done. I'd get distracted by the tv. I have one in the garage now, but I usually leave it on a country music station.

yup, and girls are a whole lot harder to keep busy. give a boy a little toy shovel a bucket and some dirt or gravel and he will be busy for hours....girls not so much.

oh well thats life always throwing a curve in the plan, ill make do.

Just raise her to be a tomboy...then they're very happy to sit and play in rocks, dirt, and mud. Even at 13, mine would still rather play in the creek than just about anything else.

and btw...congrats Jon!

thanks.

i ran by the JY real quick this afternoon, didnt find much but i did get something. for only $3 bucks i didnt figure i could pass it up.

ok i got bored and had some time in the garage so i threw the "cop" spot light in. it was a royal pain in the ass and half way through i was regretting doing it, but once i had a hole in the cab its hard to turn back. now that its done i think i like it not too ugly and i can put light just about anywhere, in front up side to side and behind me basically anywhere lol

it turned out better then i thought, there aint much room to work with and having to go through 3 pieces of metal all on wierd angles made it a real pain. made for alot of hammering and cussing.

i think it will come in handy, might swap in a 100w bulb. too bad i cant convert it to HID lol the cops wouldnt be happy if i spotted them then. but with it using the frame as the ground its a no go.

That could come in very useful. Hope its not in the way when trying to find a line. Guess thats what half doors are for.

it doesnt stick out much at all, id be in the fender and a-pillar before hitting it so it should be fine

ah some are working now and not others... wierd looks good though seems like itd be very handy especially if you get to camp late at night and need to set up the site. i wish i had one of those while i was delivering pizzas...
