97 was the redesign year. Some '97 were square, some round.

Miscreant here.. inserting opinion where its likely not wanted.. The best way to put the styling of that generation f150 is.. gopping. The generation before though....
Late 90s and early 00s were a horrible time for vehicle design.
92-96 looked good. Then the 150's were brutal until the '04 redesign.
The only square 150 in '97 should have been the HD version (as far as I recall).
Actually I thought the flowing style was similar to a new Ranger which is one of the reasons I liked them initially.
They hadn't gone totally stupid with computers on top of computers yet but were OBDII.
IMO it is a sweet spot for vehicle design.
Aesthetically a 97-03 F-150 is basically a scaled up 93-97 Ranger that nobody complains about...
Never really cared for the 04+ inside or out they also ruined the 5.4.
F-250/350. They made a pile of them as there was no 98 before the SD came out in 99.
are you drunk?I love you guys.
Ol @Ranger850 has been crying for years he wants a Ford sport truck... apparently somebody was listening. Can't wait to see his!
Cool piece of information from one of my supplier - Ford is having the axles on the new F-150 Lightning gun drilled to save weight..
...Well, I found it interesting...
