The junkyard dog build

She said she wants a lifted truck, why on earth would she lower it? Besides I am sure there are plenty of rusted out POS's in Canada that you can make look like crap. So why don't you do it?

what's up your ass? how about stop acting like your opinion is the only one that matters... i was giving a suggestion

why don't i do it? lets see, because i don't have a vehicle that is in need of being built that fits the perfect starter vehicle bill, they AREN'T that common in a condition like that up here, and you try doing something like that on a couple hundred dollars a month income, and on top of that, i'm going to be shipped across the country in about 2 months for training, so there is no point to start anything, as my 07 will be in storage for several months, and they won't pay for 2 vehicles in storage... is that reason enough for you?

I like the idea of the rat rod, But I like the OP ideas too...maybe I will look out for an old first gen to rat out.....

the biggest thing is that body is the perfect starting point for it.. minus 1 fender...

kyle, if you want some opinions on what would look good, if you actually do get that project rolling, let me know, i've got some wicked ideas... same with il bruto, his truck was the same kind of idea, just the clean version, not the rusted out version

Rat

Hell yeah, rat that SOB! I'll give you any ideas you want man, I'll help where I can.

I was merely suggesting that if you really like the rat rod look then there are probably some suitable candidates in your hometown where you could build one. I sounded like a dick in my first post however it was after a long day and I guess I was already a little miffed, anyways carry on with the build...

fair enough... honestly, i haven't seen any...

Have you seen my truck? It was re-built with nothing but JY parts. The only original parts on my truck is the cab (doors arent original) passenger fender, tranny, front windsheild and frame.

Glad to see that you saved her from the crusher, something I hate to see when I go to a JY, at least to a ranger, breaks my heart.

I agree, SAS that truck. But I do like the idea of a rat rod looking body, but still sound and safe.
