The Gas Prices here in puyallup washington suck =(

I got a 73 CB350. Maybe i should too lol
That would be a fun ride. I had a Rebel 250 for a year or so and miss how light it was to run around town and flick it back and forth. The current bike is just a DL650 but with the height and all the stuff added onto it, it feels like a much bigger bike.

My 6.2 Superduty is costing me 80-100 a week.

Shit keeps up im parking the semi uptown and walking to it.

I know of a few different Ford pickups that'll get you into the 26-28 mph range 😉 most of them being within the era where the balance of electrical simplicity & maximum mechanical reliability were at their peak...

But.. ya know 😋

Edit.. I saw you the other day complaining about some lifter issues in your ranger perhaps? The trucks I'm referring to dont have lifters 🙂

Suzuki ls650/savages are AWESOME bikes. Pretty much 100% unchanged throughout their entire production run (almost 4 decades IIRC).. apart from stepping up to a 5spd trans from a 4spd sometime in the 90s I believe.. so parts are incredibly cheap & easy to come by.. the aftermarket for them is incredibly stout as well... Kits to turn them into cafe bikes, kits to turn them into more of a bobber style bike with weld on hardtail back-halfs.. kits to turn them into scramblers.. they sky is pretty much the limit. 650cc thumper.. 50-60 HP IIRC.. as long as your not a big fat F they'll consistently beat sub-litre sportsters from 0-60 bone stock...

Love those bikes. Vtwins sound cool and all but.. a big thumper with an uncorked exhaust pretty much sounds like a helicopter when your hauling ass down the road.. and helicopters sound badass AF.

Seattle area, $6.19/gl 3 weeks ago, now chiming in on $7/gl and inconceivably, diesel is higher???

Governor Fergusson and the previous cronies are supporting someone who is not me.

If I was going back to a small cruiser, I’d consider a first generation Vulcan 500. For the time being though, one bike is plenty.

Honestly i dont know. It was my great uncles and it was in the barn when i got the house, Ive pushed it around to move it. Its not locked up but i doubt its actually moved under its own power since reagans first term. Its crossed mr mind alot to try and get it fired.

The proper number of bikes to aim to own is n+1. Where n is the current number of bikes already in the stable.

That's literally all I learned during my endless repeats of freshman algebra 😂

So why are you driving the SD then? :dntknw:
Because one 2.9 has no heat and the dash tore out...the other has a seat about to fall through the floor and the filler panel where the front markers are sitting on the frame because the core support is rotted so bad...#3 2.9 has sat for 20 years and all wiring has become mouse chow.

That said...i did fire up rusty #2 the other day for the first time since last fall...acted like i parked it yesterday.

Sooo...thats why lol

dang, I didn't know Rusty #2 was that rough.

Time to shop for Rusty #3?

Wish I could be riding the motorcycle. But, with an automatic defibrilator strapped to my chest, it doesn't seem like a good idea. Can you imagine carving turns in the mountains or cruising in city traffic and suddenly you hear an alarm. But before you can get stopped and cancel the alarm you get shocked in your chest?
