the brumby build

good to see you got the steering done. How often do you get snow there?

i haven't really tested out my steering yet, but it works for DDing.

usually we are under a foot by now. but its dry as summer. we are at 7k feet so we usually get hit pretty hard

Nice! I was wondering why your were talking about snow. My grandparents spend the winter in Tuscon and they never really mention snow. We just got dumped on here in MN. It collapsed our football stadium lol.

it sits a bit goofy, but only because is needs custom upper and lower buckets. they are xj lift coils. so they are extremely flexy. but still worthy of the highway!

snow sucks, why i live here idk.

snow, sucks, why. three words i hear daily haha you should take a trip here when the snow flies, you'll never complain about snow sucking as much as it does here. there are only about 9 paved roads in the whole town and two are major highways. snow is the devil. but snow AND mud AND fallen ponderosa pines. that sucks BIG time. damned bark beetles eatin up all the good trees and makin them fall in the road every time it gets just a little breezy....

i like the steering...did you just use bolts at the pitman arm and the knuckles?

what xj coils exactly are those? and how much lift do they give? sorry you may have addressed this i'm just at work and can't read thru 8 pages

i have no ides what coils they are. i know they measure 21in free length. and are linear. but thats as far as i know. read somewhere that they might be 6.5in lift coils. but that seems a bit extreme.

as for amount of lift, i think around 5.5 to 6. my skyjacker brackets are in the six in holes and fit pretty well. i'll be in the shop. aka. my front yard... doing some work so i can take some measurements if you would like.

that was the goal!

and its almost finished getting rhinolined too.

next is shocks.
