The autumn years of the ICE should be the golden years for the ICE.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You had a "plan" of where this thread was headed, TRS had other plans.

On that note - I heard Dodge was replacing their V8's with a straight 6

I've been meaning to mention that new i6, sounds pretty cool. I read somewhere that it's supposed to put out 550 hp or something.. with fancier versions making more.

they Call it the "Tornado" inline 6. I wonder if Ford is gonna bring back the 300 I6 as a competitor. Could you imagine a 300 I6 Ecoboost?

I'm hoping that someone can best the 2jz-gte by this point.

Toyota really let me down with the new supra by not making their own new iteration of the old monster.

those Toyota JZ motors are nice.
FUN FACT: the Toyota JZ engine in a Lexus is where the rapper "Jay-Z" got his moniker from.

Yes... it was called the Barra engine. (Not exactly, but close enough.

Im just going off what i observe while im out and about. I spend 6 days a week traveling various areas through out the MI/OH/IN tri state and i do pay very close attention....and i see very, very, very few EV's around. I mean like....could count on 2 hands per month.

Plus how many of those EV owners also own a gas vehicle? Im going to guess quite a few.

Im sure as EV offerings go up more people

Toyota done kicked em to the curb

You're self reliant. Or at least you think you are, except that you aren't willing to -actually learn- anything whatsoever. So mostly you're just... Intentionally and willfully ignorant?

That's the polar opposite of self reliant.

Not really.

Self reliant means being able to rely on one's self.

If you know the distributer and carb of your ride inside and out frontwards and backwards and keep it running well reliably, that is self reliant.

Knowing your limits and staying within them is the opposite of ignorance when speaking of self reliance.

Modern vehicles and especially Ev's are out of the average end users realm for longterm user end upjeep/repair.

That’s like arguing the best toilet paper brand based on time saved wiping.
Now this is a metric I would like to see posted on every package of TP.

I heard somewhere that the average human spends 1/3 of their life on the toilet. If 1/10 of that time is wiping then we spent 13/30 of our lifetime wiping poop.

yes, it's a slow day at work.

Toilet paper math is confusing enough already....
1 roll of X Brand is equal to 1-1/72nd of a roll of Brand Y which is equivalent to 45/44ths of a roll plus 7.5mm of Brand €*

*only if you separate the 2 plies and re-roll them into 1 long roll.

What so confusing about that?
