Yeah, his does all the time. It's pretty sweet when you're talking and he's not there. Then all the sudden your phone starts ringing in your ear.

If ya'll like Android, you oughtta check out the new app Pace Carz

It records your speed and puts it on a website with the same name. Then you can have bragging rights with facts to back them up, in terms of top speed. The App will do G's and acceleration times soon as well.

see if you guys can get dynolicious... it's on the iphone, i would imagine android too, it runs off the g's and tells you your 1/4 mile time, speed g's and all of that, it's pretty sweet and quite accurate... it essentially turns your phone into a g-tech pro

i have a droid incredible

rooted.

flashed with virtous rom. then flashed with incredibly re-engineered plus a custom kernel. it was basically gingerbread from am evo 4g re-engineered for the incredible. that gave me some problems after a couple months apps kept foreclosing on me. so i reflashed to virtuous. this thing is no where near stock.

absolutely love this phone. with the wireless tether you get from rooting i can watch netflix on my laptop in the car. no problems that i didnt create my self. thats what i get for messing with things...everything.

i also have an ipod touch for my truck so that takes care of that problem

with the wireless tether i am able to play on xbox live. at school you cant update your xbox over the lan there. so when ever microsoft updates...which is often... everyone comes to me to update there xbox so they can play on xbl again.

I'm running Netflix with the Droid X, no rooting. I've got 2.2 - I don't know if that makes a difference.

I own two things that run android and plan on getting more. First one is the Archos 5 running its original OS and then I put Froyo 2.2 on it (with the help of some tech friends) and also linux too, total of 3 OS on it and on start up and choose which on to run. My other one is my Archos 43 running Android 2.2. Both are internet tablets but the 43 has a camera and other things that my 5 doesnt have but love them both and use them daily. Basiclly I bought them both to be mp3 players but have had more fun with them then I ever thought. Have even more fun and funcionallity with them since I put the market on them too.

I plan on getting an android phone soon too. Will always stay with android, never owned an apple product and never will.

My wife and I each use the Droid X. Mine's rooted running 2.3.4 (stock ROM), hers is the basic non-root 2.3.4 that Verizon delivers OTA (although in her case it was installed via SBF. Both have been great phones. Gingerbread fixed a lot of the nuisance issues of 2.2, although it has introduced a weird radio issue where the phone will lose the ability to place calls or send text after a few days, requiring a reboot. Supposedly a patch is coming out soon to address that. Other than that, I'm very impressed with 2.3. Great devices as a whole. Huge step up from the Samsung Omnia II I had previously.

I'm rocking the Motorola Charm with 2.2 (I think).

Favourite mods: Never looked into rooting or anything but I painted the back of it to match my truck!!!

Favourite apps: Papi Jump and Nyan cat!!! Just kidding bout the cat, I almost threw the phone out the window.

Mine is a DROID X as well. I got the update and it says 2.3.3 as the v

ersion. It runs much better now. I am a lot happier with the interface as well.
