I'm trying to order repair panels for my Ranger that is not at home right now and two of them are confusing me a bit.
I'm trying to find repair panels for the bedside lower section behind the rear wheel, so basically the very back lower corner. Some parts are labelled for a 6ft bed, but many are not labelled but show measurements.
Would someone with a 7ft bed 93-97 mind grabbing a tape measure and telling me what the following measurement is supposed to be (the one that shows 32" in this photo)?

Also, I need a repair panel for the L front fender lower behind the wheel well, but can't seem to find anything. I'm trying to avoid buying an entire fender and cutting it up. Does anyone happen to know a part number or a good supplier I could call?

I'll be in my garage this afternoon and I'll measure it.

That panel is for a 7' box.
I've got a fiberglass tonneau for a 7 footer if you know anyone who'd be interested. It's NH state truck orange like my truck. The 94 Gets some needed body work and rust removal

Ok great, thank you so much. I was just wanting validation that I was getting the right one, a lot of them are poorly labeled. I just wish I could find that fender lower panel, but I'm starting to think no one makes those.
Thanks for the offer, I'm just not big on those bed covers.

Nice work! I could believe that was original.

That’s impressive, I hate doing cab corners.

Thanks!
The worst part is that it's in a buddy's shop 2 hours away (near where I grew up) because I don't have the facilities to do this kind of work at home. He;s also been helping me a little on and off. I normally roll the dice and spray outside under a one of those sun tent things, but I didn't want bugs and crap in my ranger paint so this is the route I had to go if I wanted it to actually look decent when it was done. The color is matching really well, but it's still obviously new paint against 30 year old paint, not much can be done about that, but I'll buff the entire thing out when I'm done and it should at least be a little closer. It's also taking FOREVER because I can only do it on random weekends due to the drive. The only welder I have doesn't have gas rigged up so it's flux core only, another reason I'm using his back shop. He's also been riding me "When are you gonna get this damned thing out of my way?" hehe. Sucker, he's stuck with me for the long haul

I spent another long weekend on the Ranger. Spent 2 days with a needle scaler getting all the loose rust off of the rear frame section wherever I could reach. It's really making me want to pull the cab as well and do the entire frame, but I'm restraining myself so this doesn't turn into a full-blown obsession with rust. I'd like to have my Ranger back on the road this month if possible.
I also had to spend considerable time cleaning all of the old grease off of the frame from what I assume were old trans shift rail leaks that spread all the way to the back, collecting decades of dirt and in then turning into a grease consistency. Went through to gallons of laq thinner getting it all scrubbed down and clean. I think I figured out why the frame rust is minimal on this one hehe. Maybe I should have just left it alone.
I forgot to take pictures after applying the Eastwood rust converter but I'm going back next weekend to resume and put the encaspulator epoxy over top. I also decided it would be a neat experiment to use the rust converter on the un-prepped drive shaft to see how that holds up.
Also when dropping the fuel tank, I discovered my filler neck was cracked u;. If anyone knows where I can acquire one for a '94 Std Cab 7ft bed that is known quality, please let me know. Reviews all over are saying the Chinese ones are junk and crack/start leaking after just a couple of years.
Bonus picture of my buddys Chevy pickup he's building. I think it's a '39. He's been at it on this one for about 4-5 years now. He's the one who helped me with the Ranger sheet metal, he's damn good at what he does.

Another weekend with the unit. Got the epoxy encasulator on now. 72 hours to fully cure so headed back next weekend for final color coat.
I had already done this 2 years ago, but the bed and gas tank were on it and I could only get so much of it. I'm just finishing up the rest of it now.

Damn that looks really good. I don't have that kind of patience.

Same. I need to paint all of my junk and just don't have the patience to do it...
