Hey y'all,A great big thanks to the Ranger Station and all it's members.I bought a $100 '92 that had been taken to a shop to have a new slave cylinder put in,the slave went in, but the mechanic gave up when he could'nt get the truck to go in gear,so it was returned with the tranny in but no driveshaft and a broken u-joint yoke.Which is how I bought it after it sat for a year and a half.It has a good rebuilt 3.0l with a couple thousand kms on it,the frame and suspension are all good but after sitting for a year and a half the body and brakes were pretty soft.I've basically rebuilt all the brakes and the front fenders(good ole fibreglass and scrap tin). Thanks to the Ranger Station I figured out what was wrong with the tranny, after I pulled it for no reason, and learned how to fix the leak in my shift rail plugs and this site is indespensible when it comes to finding compatible parts.I've spent the minimum of $$$,the only thing new are the brakes,I even spliced the hydraulic clutch line(ford wanted $145,found ine through here at rockauto.com for$55)bought a used door for $35,left it blue,my truck is brown. It's a testament to backyard poor mans mechanics, she's cheap, ugly and is starting to work real good thanks to y'all.

That's what were all here for, it's all about helping people out. This is a bunch of people unlike any you will find many other places.

I like hearing how you're putting one back together for minimum $$$. I hope it turns out good, and serves you well. Keep on truckin!
