The cops here seem to be alright. I haven't had rear license plate lights on for two years now and haven't gotten pulled over for it yet, even when I've had a cop driving behind me at night.
Another time (years ago), I was wheeling (probably not quite legal where we were at) with some friends riding with in a muddy area with some small, steep hills. I left the area and continued driving out of town and came down a hill, blasted my Ranger to well over the 40 mph speed limit and saw a cop on the upcoming intersected road so I slowed down to the speed limit but he turned onto the road I was on and I knew I was busted. He drove by me, turned around and pulled me over. We went through the regular routine and I responded that I didn't know why he pulled me over. He then told me that I didn't have a front license plate. I told him I was sorry and it must have fallen off. He let me off with a warning. So my friends and I went back to where we were wheeling and sure enough, there was my license plate, plastered to a hill. If it wasn't for that cop pulling me over I would probably have never found my license plate since I wouldn't have noticed it missing for quite some time and would have had to pay to get a new one.
You don't want to move here, though. We have enough people.
And, it gets cold.
