i checked all the places you guys suggested and come to find out it was a blown head gasket on the outside of the engine. I feel dumb.
the other question is my brother told me that a while back you had some postings on how to get the most power and torque out of the stock engine. any suggestions would greatly help. thanks again for all the help

also add headers are available cheap from a 2.8 aerostar (some enginuity needed to install these)

cams are available.

do not do the 2.9 stroker mod unless you have $2,000 to spend and can run straight alcahol or racing gas.
