thank you autozone......not

And its best to pass on information to new owners. The 347 I have has a 351 profile cam in it(Lunati VooDoo). It won't run if the wires are set up for a 302. Everyone that works on it knows this. I do love going into parts houses and getting parts for that Ranger though. So many different years of things on it(and I can't always remember for sure), makes it a challenge sometimes.:icon_welder:

Ug, I'm quickly heading in that same direction with mine. I have in it.....

the interior, trans, transfer case, and front drive shaft from a 91 explorer, and the rear shaft from a 98 ranger.

I have waiting to go in....

a set of axles from a 94, the power window/lock components from an 89, and an RKE module from a 98 Taurus, and

before I'm done it's also going to have....

a 96 4.0 with all wiring for OBDII (while keeping the 87 dash) and 97 front brakes because I want to dual piston calipers, and....

If i get lucky enough to figure it out I'm going to have.....

the 19 gallon tank from an early 90's E-van for a dual tank set up.

Now that is going to be fun getting parts.

It's like that on some Chevy trucks too. A couple of years ago, I went out to grab a new set of brake pads from my dad's '92 Chevy 1500. The guy asked me if it had 10" or 10.5" brake rotors. I had not clue. Why the 1/2" diff????

Thankfully, after some trial and error, I got the pads that fit.
