so im at my storage container workin on my 87 ranger with a 2.9 and i just tried doing the remote TFI mount procedures. i dont have hardware to mount the tfi right now so i figured id start the truck w/o mounting it and get to it tomorrow. the engine is misfiring badddd with the throttle floored it revs to about 1800 rpm and barely idles. does the tfi have to be mounted to ground itself, or would this be something else? my truck is my ride home so i need help fast before my storage container place closes.
