testing a mass air flow sensor.

I would change the ect then, engine should've acted way differently, but I would wait until someone else chimes in

I changed the ECT sensor and no change. I am going to test the voltage again.

Ok so I finally had time to look at the truck again. The voltage was the same as before. With the connector plugged in the voltage on the green/red wire was .63. And the gray/red was .06. With the connector unplugged the voltage was 4.7 on the green/red wire and 0 on the gray/red wire. Any suggestions? I bought a $16 masterpro brand ECT from oriellys auto parts.

If your MAF isn't working the ecu will throw a CEL and you engine may run like shit. If it's just dirty it will just get crap mileage. Soak the mesh or sense rods in white vinegar to clean it

I cleaned the MAF awhile back. It didnt make any difference. im getting around 23MPG.
it weird. when I start it when its cold it runs fine for about 30 seconds then startes to miss. It also has a hestitation till it warms up. after the engine is warm the hesitation is gone but it still vibrates at idle. Ive changed the plugs, wires, dist. cap & rotor, ECT sensor. I replaced a few vacuum hoses. Ive tested the ECT sensor, TPS, and MAF. last but not least I have cleaned the IAC valve. idk what to check next. I thought about doing a smoke test to see it maybe the intake gasket it leaking.
