k...got everything installed, heres the build pics. I made an antenna mount from some scrap steel...

bent some tabs....drilled some holes...can you tell what kind of tires those are in teh background?

and cleaned it up

and heres how it mounts

Heres the CB

I ran a hot wire into the cab through the hood release grommet, over to the passenger side and wired in a fuse block behind the passenger side kick panel.

Wow, way to use some ingenuity. Honestly never would have thought of that. Make sure you get an SWR meter or have someone that has one tune it so you can use it to its full potential.

Hey yeah I will thanks. The mount is made with 3/16 steel, and does not interfere at all with the tailgate.

its not tuned yet, so i honestly cant say. Its got a front firing speaker which is nice, and a scan feature. Ill report back when I can actually use it haha
