Oh god...not scotch locks....I won't even use those inside a vehicle, let alone outside. Just asking for corrosion issues.

Twist, solder and shrink tube. No issues.

Strange, I've never had any issues with them. I've used them for years and never had one fail.

One of those started to melt on my fog lights wiring, so i tok it out and twisted the wires instead.
the ones on the tailight bulb conversion are working fine tho. maybe they arent made for bigger amp loads
