takes forever to start!

So I have already replaced fuel filter, and fpr valve, but when I turn the key, it cranks and cranks and cranks anthen finally starts but just barely. Like it is not getting fuel. Once it starts it runs fine. WTF?

same problem. instead of cranking forever, stop and try again. mine usually starts right up when i do that. i have no idea what causes it.

Sounds like maybe leak-back fuel back into the tank when the engine is turned off.
TRY THIS: Turn the key to the "RUN" position for 5 seconds and then hit the starter... If this works your slow start problem is leak-back. You don't even need to repair the problem! Just do the same proceedure every time you start her.

by hitting the starter, do you mean get under the truck and hit the actual starter? A little inconvenient. Also sometimes when I come to a stop my truck shuts off. that sucks. Could it be the fuel pum relay even tyhough I hear the fuel pump everytime I turn the key?
