Very good timing I found this post. This is over at a Mustang site and some 19 year old was complaining of people always ragging on him for street racing. Here's his thought process (?). Doing to defend the honor of his/everyones Mustang. Later he did admit to running a red light doing about 114 mph. This was down in Rockford, IL. I know several here at site live there. You know what, alot of people started giving me trash about me street racing and what not. Some of you people even had the face to say I write poorly. I just wanna say that I don't care if I was Infront of the police station, I'll be dammed If Im gonna let some F*g walk on me. I will defend the mustang name at all costs and if that meens street racing at high speeds so be it. I will not stand by and let Rams Trans AM Camaro's or any body else for that matter make me cower "because i shouldn't race on the street". Every one talks garbage around here that only Puss*ies drive stangs, And me i beileve im a die hard Mustang/ford fan so i feel it's nessecery to show them just what the mustangs all about. the guy in that article ^^^^^ sounds like a complete idiot, hell most young teenagers are. it sucks that there are dumb people like that out there, but it is never gonna change.

right after i graduated high school, so d-bag rolled his mitsubishi(sp?) spyder out on the highway with 3 other people in the car. it skidded upside down for 100 feet or so, they couldnt even ID them with dental records.

Those kind of people I truly truly hope they live up to the word of dying street racing. I just hope they don't hurt anyone else in the process... which most likely they will. Idiots.

My first thought was gimme 5 minutes with that little punk and he'd be wishing he was in a car wreck - it would feel like a massage compared to what I'd do to him.

But I doubt a punk like that will ever learn, unless it's the hard way.

Maybe when he kills someone, the prosecutors can use that post against him.

No offense to anyone here who has a Mustang and knows how to drive responibly, but personally, I feel you really have to look out for Mustang drivers. There's thousands of kids just like this all over the nation - who think they're some kind of badass.

I think part of the problem is (at least up until the current-gen 'Stang) that it's always been a cheap car with a big motor. I'm sure some would disagree, but IMO, the '90's through the mid '00's Mustang was no better than an Escort - but with power. There aren't too many cars that come with a 300HP V-8 at an affordable price. That combination of big power and affordability is the reason why there are punks like this kid. They're cheap enough that pretty much anybody can get behind the wheel of one.
Give a immature kid a car with balls and the odds that they're going to be irresponsible with it increase quite a bit. They'll act like they're driving a Ferrari when in truth there's plenty of family sedans with auto transmissions that will smoke a Mustang, but those cars are usually driven by older adults that respect their machine, and their mortality.

I see a lot of 'Vette drivers - a much faster car than a 'Stang, but I don't see them doing burnouts and racing everybody, because it's an expensive car generally driven by adults who don't act like a kid in a candy store just because their car has guts.

me being a teenager, ive seen an heard about all my friends talk bout racing this guy an this an that. but im not goin to lie when i drive my brothers car just a cobalt with a fat can ive raced a couple people. yes i kno stupid but ive learned from my mistakes an now that i got my truck i dont do that because my truck is slow an unstable over 100 k an retarded.

im a truck guy i hate driving cars. i dont need to race people to prove something. i have fun doing other thing like wheeling.

man, a ton of my friends have lost their liscences(wrecks,dui's, watever) and they still dont get it.. they get their liscence back and do it all again..

actuall i do have 2 friends of mine that did learn their lesson, they werent racing but fell asleep while driving they both hit poles and almost killed themselfs, 1 was paralized for a little bit, but is fine now,1 had to have reconstructive surgery on his face..

im 20, and ive only had 1 street race, if you can call it a race, from a light to 70km/h, when i shut it down (speed limit was 50) theres no need to go any farther.

im at the local race track all the time so ive got some decent respect for speed, and seen first hand the forces involved..

I've street raced too, in the middle of the night on a deserted street. My issue with it is not street racing but the fact that there were other people in the car (it as bad as smoking in the car with your kids in the car) and they were doing it where other people live.

there is this douche that lives on my street with an 80's something Mustang that thinks it is his personal drag strip...... I walked over to his house and told him right infront of his parents (he is like 23) that I will pour sugar in his gas tank if I catch him speeding on my street again... (the speed limit is 10 mph because the road is only 11 feet wide...... he does like 40 or 50 and has almost crashed through the house at the "T", you have to be 12 kinds of stupid to speed around peoples houses) he hasn't been speeding since and his girlfriend has been over studying with my wife (they took their senior exit exams last week) and she makes fun of his "fagmobile"

you want to go out on a greasy dirt road with another idiot and kill yourselves then you get what you deserve........ Killing or injuring somebody else in the process will earn you a spot in the deepest pits in Hell and you also deserve what ever jail time you get .... and deserve the sodomization that what ever AIDS infested freak in pokey gives you.
