I have droopage! my rear fender have some rust, and are weak enough to aloow the quarter pans to droop. anyone have any tips for repair? solid is good sealed up and at least stop the carnage !! lol help!

Cut out the rusty metal and weld in new. If its rusty enough to droop its pretty much gone anyways

Man , I spent 4 hours taking the interior out of the B2. It was the only way I could tell what was going on. from the out side, the fender lip had a small amount of rust, Inside it was ate up! The fender well was completely loose from the whole panel, the bracket was broken that supports it as well . both sides! the back corners are rusted as well so the only thing supporting them was.... you guess......., the interior panels !! Holy Toledo!! well I thought I picked up a easy DD, lol. I cant or wont drive it like that, she deserves better! I am going to drop the Gas tank this weekend if everything goes well . I am going to drop trans as well . I sprayed those big anodized looking bolts with the huge torex head , but broke two snap on bits trying to remove them. they are the ones that hold the upright rear seats and seat belt in. might have to spray and heat after tank is removed. any tips on how to clean the rust and crap up in there? Its solid as a rock from the frame rails in , I guess Ill just cut the old away. do you have to use photobucket or similar to post picks? sprayed all frame bushing with pb blaster too , gonna get new bushing and fix those body mounts!

I use Picturetrail for pics, but anywhere works. My '84 is rust free . . but I do rust repair as a living in restorations. So if you want some info, just ask.

Thanks Pete, It really kills me to cut these fenders. I was really excited to have the original Body lines. Im gonna see how bad they really are and go from there. It was repainted and the rear fender looked decent on the out side ,but the fender well were totally gone. an inch all the way around the wheel well. they used bond on the fender lip! guess I should have looked closer! lol.

Look into Rockauto.com. They have body parts as well and might have what you need for your BII, I know I've bought cab floor panels from them and it was the best price I could find at the time.
