on my ranger, i have the tail lights with the reverse light on the top of the light...

i am wondering if i get a set from a 2000 ranger, that they will work
heres what i want
tail lights

I just purchased the LED Taillights with the clear bak-up lights on the upper section. they look a lot like your pic but LEDs in the middle and high output 3156 amber bulb on the upper section.
I will be converting the bak-up lights to directionals and adding KC Bak-up Lights to the new tubing bumper that will be in place after the Flareside Bed is on.

Was going to use the tri-segmented lights from a 99 but that is put off in place of the LEDs.

Luck on the choice.

scott the issue if u use 99 tails is that u will have to separate the single bulb system into double bulb system, u have from factory, 1 bulb for all the functions, running light and stop/turn, in the 99 they had 1 bulb for running/stop and 1 bulb for turn, if u want to have the reverse light in the bottom u can use this tails, they have the single bulb system your truck has, this are from a 2000

I think your originals look much better :icon_thumby:

scott5640, i didn't finish what I started is that all of the lights back fit and forward fit the only thing to consider is the electrical setups.

Your existing lights and the new ones you want are the sane electrically so there should be no problem. Watch how the harness is hooked up and all should be OK.
The good thing about the new Tail Light Lens is the clear lens, you can use the LED Bulbs to replace the incandescent bulb and they will look great.

The LEDs I put in and the exiting lights were the same electrically so mine were a direct fit and when they are converted to separate directionals it will only be a wiring change.

If you want pic of the LED I can take some.

I want to see a pic of the LED lights! I was considering getting a set. The ones I saw were sweet, they looked stock aside from being LED. I still might get a set if the look good. I've heard that some aftermarket LED tails aren't very good which is why I was hesitant to get some. And they're pricey.

Just saw your post, I will try and get a pic tomorrow and post afterwards.
Day and night pics of park, brake and directionals, no new backup lights yet waiting for the new bed to get installed.
Going to have to ask the wife to help, someone will have to step on the brakes, but but then she will know I spent the food money on the new tail lights.

NOT

I will Get it done tomorrow night.
