tail light issue again

so on my drivers side rear taillight has just stoped working, ive put a new bulb in and it worked. then it stopped. i have no blown fuses,bulb is good and the ground is clean. WTH? any ideas? this stoped working after my turn singles went out. i thought it was a flasher, wich it was, buts its also the switch.
i have no light, or break light on the side im talking about.

Do you have a trailer plug wiring "T"? If so unplug it and see if that cures your problem.

Check the socket with a test light. If you have power with an alternate ground with the light, but the damn thing still doesn't work, I'll be you lost ground to the socket. That would damn near be the only thing it could be if you lost everything in there at once. The bulbs are even on different fuses, so check the ground. Probably going to be intermittent, so grab and wiggle to be sure.

nope im not wired for a trailer. ill check the stuff mentioned.

Probably a bad turn signal/hazard switch.

Check this out by stepping on the brake and see if you have power at the yellow and dark green wire on the switch side of the connector. If you don't, check for power at the white wire on the switch side of the connector. If you have power there, then the turn signal/hazard switch is indeed bad.

It sounds like you could have a case of "green death". Look at your lamp holder, fusible link, all connections pertaining to that signal for a green substance or buildup. If it is green death your current has been blocked by the build up. It is like when your battery builds up corrosion around the terminals. Your current is nonexistent until it is cleaned. If it is not there look at all connections that have anything to do with that sides signal. If it is not "green death" it sounds like a shorted or broken wire. Regardless, it is going to take some time to locate, in most cases.
