Can I adapt a t-5 manual to a 1994 4.0 will it bolt right up or is there adapters needed.. the truck is a 5 speed already.

There is no aftermarket bellhousing for the 4.0. It won't work.

You're right, but not quite. .... there are a couple of factory bellhousings that will work.

Either a bellhousing from a 2.8L V6 Mustang II with a T4, or the bellhousing out of a 05-present 4.0L Mustang with a T5.

Yes, It'll bolt up, but you'll have to do something about the remote mount shifter... Unless you've got really short arms.

That's easy you spend $225 on a hurst billet plus shifter for
the T-5 and then replace the shift lever with one that you
are comfortable with.

I started a thread to ask almost the identical question. (My work computer did not show this thread when I searched, don't know why. At home now. :D ) So, will the above mentioned T5 from the 05 and up Stang bolt up in the above mentioned 94 , 4.0L, 4 X 4? And what is a "remote" shifter? Thanks!

Why? What's the point in going through the trouble when you already have a working (I assume) trans?
