Hmm. Wonder why some were behind the axle, and some in front of the axle.

I don't know why they are different. Changes between the production years probably.
I have an '87 and '88 super cabs, both have the sway in the suspension behind the axle.
I have an 86' and '88 reg cab and both of them have the sway in front of the axle. the '88 is a hi rider.
Blake - Nothing special up here, rock crawling, mud, snow, fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, scenery, just the usual boring stuff.

Sounds like a great place to go! I'll have to make a trip up there once my truck is lifted.
