I currently have leather full power seats out of an explorer swapped in. I’ve been thinkink about taking my old cloth seats and putting them on thee framing of the new ones to keep all the power stuff. Anybody know why this wouldn’t work?

I can't say for fact, but potentially completely different frame shapes. The foam may not have the necessary support.

Seems like I’ll have to spend some time at the junkyard to figure it out. Be pretty nice if it worked out

Good luck! Let us know what you find/come up with.
