Okay what all is involved in this I have a 1994 ford ranger 4x4 4.0l v6 super cab automatic, I got a manual tranny, flywheel, and clutch, and slave cylinder at a junkyard out of a 1996 mazda b series truck 4x4 4.0l super cab, so i know i need the master cylinder, pedals for clutch, and use the cable speedometer cable from the auto tranny, i need the drive shaft for a manual tranny and a starter, now what else do I need like any swapping need done on the steering column? and for the 4x4 transfer case will the connectors just hook up and work when i press the button for 4wd and low range or do i need to rewire anything?

Well, you aren't actually going to need drive shafts. They are the same from auto to manual that year.

The 4Hi shift should work just fine, Low range will through the clutch switch, so I dunno how it will react if you don't swap a whole harness.

you'll need the clutch switch as well, it goes on the pushrod for the master cylinder, and the plug is in the harness already under the dash, just gotta find it and pull the cover off of it. Its easiest if you get the whole bracket that the pedals attach to, and take your dash out. I'm not sure if its the same on a 4x4, but when I did it on a 2wd I had to get another speedo gear so the speedo would read correctly.

ok so the wire connector on the transwer case is the same for auto and the manual and the manual tranny will plug in right? I have a 4 wheel drive button and low range button on my dash, im not real concerned with the low range working just so the 4 wheel drive hi works ill be happy if i can get through mud and snow, um do i need to swapp anything in the steering column?
