Hi, will a seat from a 1989-1992 Ranger fit a 2000?

Yes, as long as they are both regular cab or both extended cab, as the mounting rails are different. For the extended cab trucks, imho, the best seats are from the late 90s Explorer/Mountaineer since they bolt right in and are available with power adjustment (and heated if leather) and are a more comfortable seat.

Thanks! Like those 90s seats bestest.

How about the black grill from late Rangers, say 2004-2011. Can they be used on a 2000?

The front ends of the different generstions are very specific, if you go outside of the generation you have, you are looking at fenders, hood, possibly lights and bumpers.

This might help you some. Notice the differences in the front ends.

To put the 04+ grille on a 2000, you will also need a hood, the headlights, the lower front grille panel and possibly the header panel that goes behind the grille to mount all that stuff. iirc, the fenders are the same from 98 on.

@Shran has tried the seat swap thing before, IIRC there are complications jumping that far in age.

Yeah... I was putting 98+ seats in older trucks, the opposite of what you want, but it's a pain because of how the seats are assembled and how the tracks & brackets attach. Can you do it...sure. Is it a lot of work that is almost not worthwhile if you have access to something that will bolt in? Yes.

I really like the 60/40 seats from the very early 2000's and have put them into an 86, an 88, and a 96 but getting the tracks right is not a simple matter.
