So i am unsure what lift to get- its between the 5.5 inch superlift and the 4 inch skyjacker. I have heard the superlifts have really stiff coils but they are less expencive and i dont want to do a full 6 inch. either way im going to do 33's and trim the fenders if necessary. which one should i get?
Thanks

skyjacker. I have been very happy with thier 4 ". the drop brackets are robust, and I like the springrate of their springs. if you were considering the 5.5" get the skyjacker 6" the spings do settle a little.

Also if I remember correctly superlift uses a plate to drop the rear drop bracket which I hear interferes with the dana 35 cases. the sky jaker kit comes with a completely new drop braket. correct me if I'm wrong. perhaps their design may have changed in recent history.

The newer superlift bracket is not a drop plate.

With some extended arms, no sway bars and long shocks, the superlift flex aint that bad.....and it's really streetable, even without dual shocks up front.

However, the skyjacker kit is the 'best', and the coils flex a lot more... although, if your looking for a lot of flex, XJ coils and some 4" bracketry are the way to go.

That's a 5.5 superlift kit with homemade arms, the stuff is a little too limited because of the stiffness, but I aint worried about it.

I think I read in one of the sticky posts... "the sky's the limit"......

Seriously... I'm picking up a set of skyjacker coils tonight... second truck, second set... I wouldn't go any other way....

why would anyone buy dual shocks and then have to throw them away after a couple of years. its much better to buy a set of rebuildable shocks that can be valved to your liking for about the same price.

all the skyjacker stuff ive seen is usually beefier than the competitor. or you could go on race-dezert and buy a used longtravel kit and springs of better quality for a pretty decent price. good luck on shipping tho.
