supercharging b2

nice ranger. love the idea.
ill start looking for that system. and since you have mentioned it slipping. i was think about adding another idler pulley to bring the belt closer together to get better coverage.
thx a ton ranger. im glad that there is some one on here that shares my beliefs on sc ing my b2.

how much power do you think this will all bring

stock bottom end, heads are polished, the bigger injectors, port matched, pacesetter headers, 2 1/2 inch pipe to 30 series flow master. supercharger-6to8 psi. msd ignition.

I don't think you'll be very impressed with power output. I had a supercharged 4.0 in my 94 pushing about 6 psi. It had some guts, but my buddies stock 3.1 liter Monte Carlo completely blew my doors off. A 2.9 with the same boost will be even less powerful. If you do it, remember you're doing it for the cool/unique factor. It's hard to get a lot of power out of these Cologne engines without BIG dollars.

I'm currently building a 5.0 with an M90 in a TJ, and I'm in the fab stages of my 5.0 powered with an M122 for my Trac...

to tell you the truth mosterchuck. im doing it for the little extra power because im going to be running 32 1150 15 tires. and i know they are going to be heavy. plus i want to use this b2 for the enjoyment of doing some offroad fun. here in cedar city we have the three peaks off road challenge and i want to do it. they have many courses and i can do the class for my b2. i just need a lil more hp. lmao sc is my lil hp i need.

I've been running an Eaton M90 on my 2.3 for many years. It works well. It can be done, but there's not a lot of help out there on how to actually put a project like that together.
