Supercharger for Explorer 5.0

I know at 1 point there were units for an explorer. I also know fox pulley were pretty far off & sn95 were much closer. On some of the texts there is a picture of a 5.0 ranger with a vortec supercharger on it. Anyone know who’s that was or what it is?

Explorer Express used to make supercharger kits for the Explorer 5.0L. I don’t think they’re around anymore.

No, Explorer Express made supercharger kits for the 4.0 Explorer (and also Mustang iirc), not for the 5.0 that I ever saw.

The EE kit I bought new and installed in my ‘96 Explorer 5.0 says otherwise.

you need two m90's for a healthy 5.0. thought about putting two on my 6.5....but its not enough.

Does anyone know what’s needed if you want to run a sn95 powerdyne? I know they are still a little out of alignment, is it a matter or bringing the other pulleys forward?

We had (have?) a user on here with an early '00's Ranger with a 5.0 swap and supercharger. Now I get to go down the rabbit hole of remembering who it was...

I saw that picture but there isn’t any info that I could find. That is what got me thinking about it too. I just am uneasy about buying one just to try & make it fit.

Yeah, I was hoping to find out where he was still active for more info. Looks like he disappeared from all the Ranger sites in late 2019.
