Bobby argues over the obs 7.3. The 99+ was considerably stronger then the 94.5-97 ones.

The power stroke would be good for a business that tows agriculture/landscaping machines (John Deere backhoe and/or Bobcat). The only bad thing (or two) is the breakdown will be costly & diesel prices have gone up-

My buddies 02 7.3 can chirp 38" tires in second gear... quite a peppy dinosaur. I believe it has an aftermarket turbo and someone fiddled with the computer though. We replaced the engine with one from a low mileage wreck and are rebuilding the original. Not a hard engine to work on at all and I know nothing about diesel engine repair, so if I can work on it anyone can.

Diesel is witchcraft.

They only thing you really have a common problem with is the turbo pedestal vibrates so much the lines degrade and the high pressure pump takes a dump.
