i have a older suntune tach, it has 4 wires a red (power) black (ground) green (i think negative side of coil) and blue. what is the blue one for? is it illumination or what?? my coil is mounted on the firewall so i cant see it really well so which one is the negative side? thanks rough

ya blue should be ur light on it.... i'm working on installing my sunpro on my 2.9. but i can't make it work. the green wire has been plugged into every wire i can find on my coil but nothing works. and i know the tach works cuz i took it outta my project elcamino... any ideas on that one?

red to 12v fuse, black to ground,sunpro-white for illumination, green to tach side of coil.iirc, looking down on coil the tach connection is the left side, battery to the right.

crap, single green on the RIGHT side looking down from drivers side fender, not the left.tie green from tach in there and you shoud be working.

everything seems to work when you put power to it.. haha

the green wire on the tach goes to the green wire coming off the connector on the coil.... easy as that....
