Sunroofs

Hey i am thinking about getting a sunroof for my 03 ext cab ranger, so does anyone have pics of there sunroofs OE or aftermarket? and if aftermarket what brand did you get and how hard was it to install?

Mine came with a flip roof. Id say it would be very hard to install because of how you would have to cut into your roof to put it in.

where are you gona mount the dome light? and trucks arent suposed to have sun roofs lol..

I got mine from ctops on ebay. It was under 100 shipped. I just got the standard RVO (Rear Vent Only). It also completly comes out also. I really like mine and dont regret it. It came with a template and everything so all I had to do was just center it on the roof and start cutting.

Dome light? you mean that thing that you want destroy for coming on when your hungover or still drunk and driving home at night? Not to mention that i drove my Jeep without any kind of interior light for a year.

My dome light hasn't been functional for 2 years ... never bothered fixing it.

Have been looking into a sunroof as well ... that interior is so small it needs more natural light.

IMO you have to be rocking a mullet to drive anything with a T-top.

I said IMO, i am not a big fan of them because you lose a lot of support, not to mention the never ending leaking when you use them.

i had an 88 300zx with T-tops and i never had any problems with them leaking but it did make the car flex a fair bit

i had a 97 Reg Cab Ranger with a pow sunroof that tilted up and back , i loved it , the roof alone was like 600 sand had to be pro installed , it was on the truk when i bought , but i have been looking into one for either of my extended cab rangers

I say sunroof=yes and t-tops= no, i will shoot you if you do that on a ranger.
