Sunday May 31 Trail run

Heres a couple of shots from an easy little trail run a couple of us from our club did today. Its pretty much an old horse/quad trail into a very old town site from the 40's called Dorreen. Drove in, looked around the town site, drove back out. Came across a couple of old Willys jeeps in the bush.

Yea there is some neat old iron sitting in the bush there, those Willys all had air in the tires still

I bet you couldnt tell if they had an absolute vacuum or 90lbs in the tires hahaha. Those old bias plys are STIFF.

That is a cool jeep. I am surprised more parts have not been robbed off of it.

What is that old truck? My buddy thinks its a Willys. I have no clue.......

Its a Willys Overlander that was converted for an ambulance.

That's why the chrome nose piece in that picture has W O in it.

my uncle has been rebuilding some willys (has 3 jeepsters and a wagon) and the stupidest little parts like spedo needles sell for pretty good money, i am surprised that it looks like it does.
