When you are installing this thing the headliner will be removed.

There are metal hose "barbs" or "nipples" on the sunroof frame.

you buy the vinyl tubing from Lowe's or Home Depot

Buy one online? buy a set of E-Torx sockets and go junkyard crawling.

Good News! so while digging around a junkyard looking for a fitting. i found a complete sun roof in an exploder thats in pretty decent condition. As soon as i get this wrapped up I'm gonna head back and get it. Expect picture maybe end of june

How "complete"?

Did it include the sunshade that clips to the glass?

no, but i think I'll live, I am more concerned with the condition/completeness of the actual sun roof

Not to bump an old thread, but I'm going to be installing most likely a C.R Laurence Newport 14x32" pop up sunroof. Seems to get good reviews on everything i've read for the autoport/newport line.

Seems pretty simple as far as install goes and parts seem to be readily available.

Might pick up an extra seal just in case but overall it seems to be a decent cheap mod to do. I just want more light. Being a single cab I don't want an electric sun roof. I have an overhead console and found pictures of someone that has both. looks really good to me.
